Formation: 4-3-3

The Starters

Goalkeeper

Richard Odoh: Quick in his distribution, snark save on the stroke of halftime to preserve the 2-0 lead. Couldn't do anything about the goals. Fine outing for the young goalie. 7/10

Defenders

Emmanuel  Michael: Excellent on the attack, and scored a great free-kick in the 12th minute.

Caught out of position a few times with one almost resulting in a goal for Ghana in the 21st minute with the resulting header wide of the mark. Impressive outing 7/10

Jeremiah Olaleke: Strong tackler and very physical. Shaky in the last few minutes due to the pressure of conceding an 88th-minute penalty. 7/10

Miracle  Ogwor: Great composure, good ball-playing abilities but sometimes rash in his tackling and was booked in the 65th minute. Didn't close his man well for Ghana's first goal. 6.5/10

Yahaya Lawal: Outstanding recovery pace, bad tackling. A mixed performance. 5.5/10

Midfielders

Raphael Oyebanjo: Strong tackler, good positioning but limited in his passing. Wasn't dynamic enough in the second half to push the team forward. 7/10.

Ebube  Okere: Lively first half and great controller. Didn't do much in spreading play to the flanks but was excellent in making play tick. 7/10

Ozor Okere: Dropped too deep in the first half and relied heavily on his long passing. Had fine touches and drew many fouls I'm dangerous areas. Good outing. 7/10

Attackers

Kevwe Iyede: Great movement and physicality. Almost through on goal in the 19th minute with only a last-ditch tackle stopping him. Has a wicked shot in him. 7.5/10

Precious  Williams: Scored a rebound effort in the 44th minute after a fizzling shot from Iyede was spilt by the opposition goalkeeper. 8/10

Jubril Azeez: Great associative play, quick feet and almost got a curling effort right in the 40th minute.

Scored from a second Ghana goalkeeper howler in the 52nd minute. Booked for diving in the 55th minute and got replaced in the 78th minute after sustaining an injury. 8/10

The Substitutes

Light Eke: Scored from a loose ball from a corner kick after coming on. Impressive cameo appearance. 7/10

Basil Mbata: Replaced Emmanuel Michael in the 81st minute and got forward well. Poor final ball and hoofed a cross into orbit where he should have done better. 5/10
