The Portuguese coach has made four changes to the side that beat Sierra Leone 2-1 at the National Stadium in Abuja four days ago.
William Troost-Ekong is not available for selection having flown back to his base after suffering what has been diagnosed by Nigerian Federation medics as a groin injury, while Almeria striker Umar Sadiq is out of the starting lineup after his unimpressive showing against the Leone Stars.
The Super Eagles lineup with Francis Uzoho in goal and a back four of Chelsea academy product Ola Aina, ex-Arsenal youth team skipper Semi Ajayi, Rangers' Calvin Bassey and Porto star Zaidu Sanusi.
Oghenekaro Etebo is pairing with Hale Ender Alex Iwobi in central midfield, with Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon playing as the wide midfielders.
Victor Osimhen starts in the centre-forward position and the Napoli star is supported by Lorient ace Terem Moffi.
