Dessers who was on loan at Feyenoord last season etched his name into the history books when he became the first Nigerian player to win the top scorer prize of a European competition as he finished as the Golden Boot winner of the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League with ten goals in thirteen appearances despite losing the final to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
The 27-year-old had a stellar season on loan at Feyenoord, scoring 20 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Rotterdam club failed to trigger the buy option clause in his deal.
Dessers joined up with the Super Eagles during their tour of the United States but was an unused substitute in both matches of the African Cup Of Nations Qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.
