Top seven Nigerian performers in Europe August 27-28 including three French-based forwards

Over the weekend, Nigerian footballers played for their various clubs in Europe.
Allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at the top performers of the weekend (27th - 28th of August 2022) including three French-based forwards Terem Moffi, Moses Simon and
1) Sadiq Umar (UD Almeria - La Liga Santander) : For the second game in a row, Sadiq Umar scored to give UD Almeria an unexpected victory over Sevilla.
The victory was sealed by a straightforward tap-in from the Nigerian international, who played the entire game.
The Rojiblancos' first victory of the season came courtesy of his strike.
2) Tolu Arokodare (Amiens SC - Ligue 2) : Arokodare scored in Amiens' 1-1 tie with Le Harve in the French Ligue 1.
The lanky forward put his employers ahead in the 13th minute before Thiare leveled the game in the 72nd minute.
Tolu now has two goals in five Ligue 2 games.
3) Terem Moffi (FC Lorient - Ligue 1 Uber Eats) : The Super Eagles attacker scored twice to help FC Lorient defeat Clermont Foot 63 in a spirited contest.
After failing to win in their previous game, the 23-year- old's brace was sufficient to give the Brittany based side its second victory of the season.
4) Moses Simon (FC Nantes - Ligue 1 UberEats) : The Nigerian national team star inspired a 3-1 victory for Nantes over Toulouse FC.
Simon, who played for 80 minutes, contributed two goals (one goal and an assist).
5) Mathias Oyewusi (FK Zalgiris - Lithuania A Lyga) : Mathias Oyewusi found the back of the net in FK Zalgiris' 4-1 away victory over FC Hegelmann.
The Nigerian played for 66 minutes and scored a goal before being substituted.
6) Victor Boniface (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise - Belgian Pro League) : In the 2-1 victory over RSC Anderlecht, RUSG's Victor Boniface scored his first goal for the team.
In the second minute of the game, the youngster scored to give his team the lead.
7) Alhassan Yusuf (Royal Antwerp - Belgian Pro League) : Yusuf played an important role for Royal Antwerp in their 2-1 win over KAA Gent.
The defensive midfielder played the entire duration of the game, making three successful tackles and three interceptions.
