Osimhen revealed that the players were abused on social media by Nigerian fans following the disappointment of missing the World Cup.
"We had online abuses. Now it's behind us but the memories still linger. We will do our best to earn their trust," Osimhen emphasised.
On comparisons with Drogba, the Nigerian star added:
"Drogba is a great striker who I want to emulate and achieve what he did in football or even surpass them.
"Scudtto? Who would have believed that 5 years ago that I will win it.

"There will be failure, there will be rejections. Not all of them have the kind of mindset I have.
