Allnigeriasoccer.com runs the rule over the Nigeria players on parade at the  Brisbane Stadium.

The starters

Goalkeeper

Chiamaka Nnadozie: The skipper had a poor game by her standard as she was nervy for most of the game, particularly in the first half 5/10

Defenders

Michelle Alozie:  The energetic right back was good once again as she curtailed the influence of Katie McCabe, made some good forward runs and created one good chance. 8.5/10

Osinachi Ohale:  The veteran defender didn't have much to do but still maintained her composure whenever she needed to do so. 7/10

Oluwatosin Demehin:  The 21-year-old was the busier of the two centre-backs and withstood everything thrown at her.  It was her best performance to date 8/10

Ashleigh Plumptre:  Was poor in the first half with everything she did.She made a vital block in the second half to deny Denise Sullivan. 5.5/10

Midfielders and strikers

Halimatu Ayinde: She was once again industrious with her sublime recovery runs and her ability to shield the ball away from the opponents. 7.5/10

Christy Ucheibe: She worked her socks off yet again with her exceptional reading of the game. However, she took a lot of hefty touches and made a good number of poor passes  7.5/10

Toni Payne: She was hardworking and created a good chance for Kanu in the second half. .8/10

Rasheedat Ajibade: She was quiet all game despite her continuous attempt to be involved by switching positions 5/10

Uchenna Kanu:  Was more lively than the last game, strong in possession, worked her socks off defensively and created Super Falcon's only chance in the first half. She got close to scoring in the second half but was denied by a superb save from Ireland's goalkeeper. 7/10

Asisat Oshoala: Got Nigeria's first and only chance in the first half but couldn't hit the target and saw another chance go wide in the second half. Not a good game by her standards. 5/10

The substitutes

Ifeoma Onumonu: Her hold-up play was good, led the line well with her precise pressing. 5.5/10

Gift Monday; Made her first appearance in the tournament as she brought on for the lively Kanu. Made a solo run that led to a shot on target late on in the game. 5.5/10

Onome Obi: The oldest player in the team came on for Demehin and helped the Super Falcons keep a clean sheet. 6/10
