Manchester City's England striker Chloe Kelly says she's looking forward to Monday morning's round of 16 showdown between the Lionesses and Super Falcons at Lang Park, Brisbane.
England maintained their 100% win record at the 2023 Women's World cup and secured first place in Group D after thrashing China PR 6-1 on Tuesday to set up a meeting with Nigeria.
Against the Asians, Kelly netted her first goal of the tournament and England's fifth in the 77th minute when she tapped into an empty net after an inviting ball from Lauren James.
The Super Falcons made the world sit up and take notice of their defensive organization during the group stage, keeping two clean sheets against Olympic champions Canada and Republic of Ireland.
With a win against Australia, they progressed to the last 16 as the second best placed team in Group B.
On facing Nigeria, Kelly BBC Radio 5 Live after the win versus China PR: "We're looking forward to it.
"A different test again and in world football playing against different opposition is amazing so we're all looking forward to it."
The Super Falcons resumed full training activities at Lions FC Stadium on Thursday after they were given two days off as part of their recovery routine.
