Agent preaches right attitude to young footballers as age grade scouting tournament end in Lagos
Published: September 21, 2023Young footballers across Nigeria have been admonished to be of good conduct and ensure they are well behaved as they continue to grow in their search for greener pastures.
The admonition came courtesy the managing partner of Myron Toplcass Sports Outfit, Mr. Endurance Ogbemudia.
Eddie Ogbemudia was speaking against the backdrop of the successful completion of a scouting tournament for Under 15 and 16 boys recently held in Lagos.
The tournament was put together by Rush Soccer from the United States of America, Myron Sports and Morak Football Club.
Mr. Endurance Iseri Ogbemudia in his assessment said the scouting tournament was top notch and one that will stand the test of time.
While reacting to the quality of boys that participated, he explained that most of them exhibited qualities needed to excel in football.
He said: "Basically, I look at their fighting spirit, the character, speed and techniques. I also consider the height because of what's applicable in World Football today, you see most European teams building their team around tall players.
"Apart from these qualities, attitude is very key as well, you might be very good and talented, but if your attitude is not right, I will find it very difficult working with you".
More than three hundred players were scouted at the event, the exceptional players will be put on different platforms that can help actualize their dream.
The 3-day long event was held at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
