Werder Bremen have been linked with Nigeria's 2023 Fifa U20 World Cup star Tochukwu Nnadi.
According to Plovdiv Derby, the Bundesliga side intend to sign the Flying Eagles midfielder in the January transfer window to bolster their midfield options.
Nnadi plies his trade with Bulgarian outfit Botev Plovdiv and his current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2025.
The 20-year-old joined the Canaries in 2022 and has featured for both the junior and senior teams since moving to the club.
He has been unable to nail a starting role in the first team, starting just 6 games in the efbet Liga, the Bulgarian first division this season while his other seven appearances have come as a substitute.
Across all competitions, the talented midfielder has made 42 appearances and has registered one assist for Botev Plovdiv.
Nnadi plays primarily as a defensive midfielder but can play as a play central midfielder too as he showed during the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup where he played five games for Nigeria.
