Allnigeriasoccer.com runs the rule over Super Falcons players
The starters
Goalkeeper
Chiamaka Nnadozie: Apart from her save in the first half, the Paris FC shot-stopper had nothing to do all game. 6/10
Defenders
Akudo Ogbonna: She was asked to cover at left back and played comfortably, capping up her performance with an assist. 7.5/10
Osinachi Ohale: The veteran centre-back had nothing to do much defensively but demonstrated her good passing ability with some diagonal passes from the back. 7/10
Oluwatosin Demehin: Very reliable as ever, coordinated the defensive line with Ohale but didn't demonstrate the laudable passing ability of the former. 6.5/10
Rofiat Imuran: Showed good understanding with the forwards, made good crosses and registered an assist. 7.5/10,
Midfielders and strikers
Deborah Abiodun: In what was her first game since she was sent off at the World Cup, the diminutive midfielder was magnificent. Covered a lot of ground, was quick to win the ball off the Cape Verdeans and was elegant in possession. 9/10
Piece Efih: Played a more advanced role as opposed to playing as the deepest playing midfielder and was decent 6/10
Toni Payne: Missed a good opportunity to register her name on the scoresheet but fluffed her lines in the first half. Had no significant impact on the game 6.5/10
Rasheedat Ajibade: Wasn't the best game for the Atletico Madrid star as she failed to make an impact in the final third 6/10
Uchenna Kanu: She was great yet again, was too quick and clever for the opposition and deservedly grabbed a brace in the game. 8.5/10
Gift Monday: Showed tenacity to win the ball for her goal but wasn't influential in the game besides that. 7/10
The Substitutes
Esther Okoronkwo: The substitute was great when she came on and her brace was the evidence of that. 8.5/10
Esther Onyenezide: Deployed in the midfield, her quick feet were too much to handle for the away side and made some nice passes. 6.5/10
Chiamaka Okwuchukwu: Was handed her debut and looked like a bright prospect with her speed when she came on 6/10
Rinsola Babajide: Also helped to mount more pressure on the tiring Cape Verde defensive line. 6/10
Tochukwu Oluehi: Came very late on in the second half as a substitute for Nnadozie and had nothing much to do N/A
