Malcolm Ebiowei: 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee in talks over loan move to Belgian top-flight club
Published: February 01, 20242019 Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei has been linked with a move to Jupiler Pro League side RWD Molenbeek.
According to Football Insider, the Crystal Palace winger is in talks over a loan move to the Belgian club before the closure of the current transfer window.
While some Championship clubs have also shown interest in him, it is the Brussels-based club that is leading the race for his signature at the moment.
RWD Molenbeek are presently struggling to save their Jupiler Pro League status as they occupy the 15th position in the table and have scored just twenty-five goals all season.
Ebiowei has yet to play any single minute of first-team football with Crystal Palace this season despite being named in the matchday squad on thirteen occasions.
He has had to make do with playing for the development side, featuring in the EFL Trophy and the Premier League 2, where he has made four appearances and assisted once.
This informs the earlier report that he wants to depart Selhurst Park before the end of this window and could now be on the verge of leaving South London for the rest of the season if an agreement is reached with RWD Molenbeek.
