41 goal involvements in 28 games: PL clubs keeping tabs on Birmingham City schoolboy of Nigerian descent

A plethora of unnamed English Premier League and overseas clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on Birmingham City U16 forward Tobechukwu Ugorji.

Ugorji has become a target for top-flight English clubs due to his impressive performances for the Blues academy teams.

According to the well-informed Football Insider, numerous Premier League and foreign clubs are monitoring Birmingham City schoolboy Tobey Ugorji.

The promising teenager has directly participated in 41 goals (26 goals, 15 assists) in 28 all-competition appearances so far in the 2023-2024 campaign.

Ugorji has played for Birmingham City U18s this season, coming off the bench to replace Tattum in the closing minutes of their 2-0 loss to Bradford City in the Professional Development League Cup.

A striker by trade, he was a member of Erdington and Saltley Primary Schools District Football Team before joining the St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park outfit in 2016.

Apart from clubs in the Premier League, French Ligue 1 teams are also tracking the Anglo-Nigerian wonderkid.

Ugorji qualifies to represent the Golden Eaglets through his Nigerian father and he's also eligible to wear the colours of England.

Nigeria international Sone Aluko and 2019 Super Eagles invitee Viv Solomon-Otabor are products of the Birmingham City academy.
