West Ham, Crystal Palace ready to challenge Serie A giants Juventus for Leicester ace Ndidi
Published: April 19, 2024
According to TuttoJuve via CaughtOffside, Crystal Palace and West Ham are keenly interested in Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi will add more solidity and dynamism to Crystal Palace's midfield as he is capable of shielding the defence as well as influencing the game in the final third as he is showing for Leicester City this season.
With Tomáš Souček struggling and the failure of Manchester City loanee Kalvin Phillips to flourish, the Nigeria international will also represent a good addition for David Moyes' side.
The Eagles and Hammers aren't the only one credited with an interest in the 27-year-old as Italian giants Juventus are also interested in him while Tottenham and Newcastle are also keeping tabs on him.
Ndidi is set to become a free agent in the summer after the expiration of his contract and it is no surprise that clubs are already jostling to sign him in the summer.
He has played a key role for Leicester City's quest to regain promotion to the Premier League, notching seven goal involvements in 28 appearances in the English Championship this season.
The Foxes must already be ruing the possible departure of the Nigerian midfielder, particularly because he would leaving for free.
