'Has a big future' - Agent reveals why Akinsanmiro chose to stay at Inter Milan
Published: May 01, 2024In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Crescenzo Cecere, the agent of Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, shed light on the 19-year-old's decision to remain at Inter Milan for the current season.
Despite attracting interest from top clubs like Real Madrid and Benfica, but Inter Milan hastily opted to pursue the eventual signature of the 2023 Flying Eagles invitee.
Cecere emphasized that Akinsanmiro's priority was to develop and refine his skills, and Inter Milan's project aligned with his goals.
The young midfielder has been an integral part of the Primavera team since joining last year and has already gained valuable experience training with the senior squad.
Akinsanmiro made his senior debut in a match against Lecce earlier this season, a moment his agent described as a significant milestone.
Although he has only made one senior appearance so far, Cecere believes the experience has been invaluable for the young Nigerian.
"He's a very talented experience. He now has experience with the first team. He's a young talent who certainly has a big future," Cecere said.
"This was a season of great growth for him, He stayed at Inter so that he could train and work." He added.
With his talent and dedication, Akinsanmiro is poised for a bright future in football.
His decision to remain at Inter Milan will likely prove to be a wise one, as he continues to hone his skills and push for more opportunities with the senior team.
