Atalanta reveal the new personal record set by Lookman after goal against Como

Lookman, who was a surprise omission from the starting lineup, came off the bench to replace Mateo Retegui nine minutes into the second half, with Atalanta searching for an equalizer.

Davide Zappacosta's early opener was cancelled out by Gabriel Strefezza, before Sead Kolasinac put the ball into his own net to give the visitors the advantage.

Things got more difficult for Atalanta as Alieu Fadera made it 3-1 with a shot from an acute angle two minutes before the hour mark.

In the ninth minute of stoppage time, Lookman stepped up to convert the penalty won by Vlahović to cut the deficit for the home team and set a new personal record in the process.

Lookman has directly participated in six goals (4 goals, 2 assists) in his last four Serie A appearances, one more than he managed in his previous eleven games of the 2023-2024 campaign.
