Ex-Besiktas star explains why he prefers Osimhen over most expensive signing in Super Lig history

Former Beşiktaş star Sergen Yalçın has explained why he prefers Victor Osimhen over Youssef En-Nesyri.
Napoli-owned striker Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan in September while En-Nesyri moved to Fenerbahçe in July for a fee of 19.5 million euros, making the Morocco international the most expensive player in history signed by a Turkish Super Lig team.
The Super Eagles striker has become a fan favourite at the RAMS Park due to his blistering start to the campaign and has formed a formidable partnership with Mauro Icardi.
He bagged an assist against Rizespor, did the same against Fenerbahçe and scored in the last three games in the Süper Lig, as well as registering two assists in the UEFA Europa League.
Unlike the Nigerian, En-Nesyri has struggled to find his feet at Fenerbahçe, and he is struggling to earn the full trust of Jose Mourinho, who has preferred Edin Dzeko in most of the league games.
Though the Moroccan forward has scored and assisted in the last two games he has started in the Süper Lig, that hasn't convinced Yalçın that Fenerbahçe were right to make him the Super Lig's most expensive acquisition.
The former Beşiktaş midfielder has stated that the ex-Sevilla striker can't be relied upon to find the back of the net as often as Osimhen.
"You give 18 million to En-Nesyri but you cannot say 'This money will be given, he will save this team, he will score many goals' but you say this for Osimhen in the air, " Yalçın told Ekol TV via haber sari kirmizi.
"If you are going to get a centre forward, it will be without hesitation. Fenerbahçe will definitely have a centre forward, there are serious problems"
Statistics do not state the whole story, but that isn't the case with Osimhen and En-Nesyri; the former has four goals and four assists in seven outings for Galatasaray, while the latter has three goals and one assist in 15 games for Fenerbahçe.
