Eguavoen's most used player in Afconq wanted by Trabzonspor, teams in Italy, Brazil, USA and Mexico

Bruno Onyemaechi's impressive performances for club and country since the start of the season have not gone unnoticed by European and North American teams.
The versatile Boavista fullback was the most used player by interim Nigeria boss Augustine Eguavoen during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, logging 540 minutes across five matches.
He has showed his versatility at club level, playing in multiple positions including left winger, left midfielder and central defender.
Allnigeriasoccer.com confirmed twenty-four days ago that Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor have made enquiries about the availability of Onyemaechi ahead of the January transfer window.
Now, Portuguese sports daily O Jogo is reporting that the defender is also attracting interest from teams based in Italy, Brazil, the United States and Mexico, apart from Trabzonspor.
Onyemaechi had been linked with a departure from Boavista in previous transfer windows, but the Panthers' inability to register new players ultimately blocked the transfer.
With a valuation of three million euros, the left-footed player ranks as the second most valuable in Boavista’s squad, reflecting his strong performance this season.
Onyemaechi has netted two goals across fourteen matches in the Liga Portugal, taking advantage of the more attacking role given to him by the Boavista coach.
The former CD Feirense man has a contract with Boavista until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
