Official: SAMSON GODWIN Joins FC Minsk
Published: June 12, 2012As reported by Belarus website goals.by, former Gabros International midfielder Samson Godwin has officially been unveiled by Belarusian Premier League club, FC Minsk. The duration of the contract was not disclosed.
Godwin joined the six-year-old club as a free agent from Ukrainian Premier League side FC Karpaty.
The necessary paperwork is in place. The experienced midfielder made his debut on Monday in the 4 - 4 home draw against Neman Grodno, introduced by Coach Vadim Skripchenko after 70 minutes.
The 28-year-old Nigerian spent ten years in Ukraine playing for Karpaty Lviv, Shakhter Karagandy and Volyn Lutsk. He is married to an Ukrainian citizen.
