Official: BRIGHT EDOMWONYI Joins Racing Genk

Racing Genk have officially announced the acquisition of the young Nigerian forward Bright Edomwonyi. The 18-year-old last season played for the reserve team of Westerlo.
Edomwonyi started pre-season training with Racing Genk on Monday.
General Manager of Genk, Dirk Degraen says Edomwonyi will be considered for the first team despite his young age.
He told the official website: ''He is only 18, but we see him actually to complement the first team. Bright played last season with the youth team of Westerlo and was being monitored by several European clubs. ''
Edomwonyi joins compatriot Kennedy Nwanganga, 21, at the 3-time Belgian champions.
