Exclusive: Offers From Russia, Germany For ODION IGHALO, Wants Granada Return
Published: June 27, 2012
Former Nigeria Under 21 skipper Odion Ighalo is pondering his future destination ahead of the resumption of the league in most countries in Western Europe.
Ighalo is under contract with Udinese until June 2014. But the Bianconeri's dealings in the transfer market has limited Ighalo's playing opportunities, and he does not want a return to Italy.
''Only God knows my future destination. Maybe next week, I will know something about my next move. I know a lot of clubs are interested in my services. But I don't want to mention the clubs now until things are finalized. Teams in Germany, Spain, France and Russia have made enquiries for me,'' says Ighalo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''But my first choice is to return to Granada. It would be nice if I return there. Granada is like my second home. The supporters of Granada are wonderful, and they are the reason why I want to continue playing for them,'' adds the former Lyn Oslo star.
Odion Ighalo has netted 27 goals in 81 appearances for Granada. Those goals were instrumental to back-to-back promotions achieved by the Rojiblancos horizontales.
