Sporting Lisbon Discussing Deal For TOTO TAMUZ
Published: July 11, 2012Hapoel Tel Aviv Israeli - Nigerian striker Toto Tamuz is one of the candidates to lead the attack of Sporting Lisbon next season, according to reports in the Israeli media.
Tamuz is under contract with the Reds but does not have a good relationship with the club's hierarchy and could be on the way out of Tel Aviv.
Sporting Lisbon's athletic director, Carlos Freitas.has reportedly held discussions with the agent of Tamuz. A loan deal for the 24-year-old center-forward is on the agenda.
In 61 matches for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli championship, Tamuz, who is also on the radar of Swiss vice-champions Lucerne, has averaged more than one goal every two games.
