Manchester United Legend PAUL SCHOLES Inspires AMEOBI

Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi used Manchester United legend Paul Scholes as inspiration as he battled with asthma as a junior.
Ameobi admits he feared he would never get the chance to play at international level when he started suffering from asthma aged 11.
He still has to use an inhaler daily but added: “At first I was scared as I thought this might deflect me from my dreams.
“But Shola and my family said it’s only you who can sort this out and see if you can make something of your life — and they kept encouraging me and I’m very grateful.
“I have it and I am not going to let that be an excuse to not be able to make it to the top of my game.
“Paul Scholes has had it and he has done OK, hasn’t he?”
