Exclusive: EFFIOM OTU BASSEY To Test With Colorado Rapids
Published: December 05, 2012
Former Bukola Babes midfielder Effiom Otu Bassey has been declared surplus to requirement at Norwegian club Lillestrom.
He has a contract with The Canaries which was due to expire at the end of the 2014 season. Having failed to establish himself in the first team, Bassey has been told to look for a new club.
The 20 - year - old has an opening with a club in the MLS, his agent Atta Aneke has exclusively told this portal.
''Effiom Bassey was a bit unlucky as the Lillestrom coach that signed him was fired and the new coach bought 19 new players this past season!
''I have a deal lined up for him at Colorado Rapids in January. But he must first prove his fitness by testing with the club,'' says Aneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
