Maccabi Tel Aviv In Talks With Nigeria Federation To Delay Enyeama's Arrival
Israel Premier League log leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv are understood to be in talks with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation to allow Super Eagles custodian Vincent Enyeama play the league match against Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona on Monday, January 7th, informs one.co.il.

The Fifa regulations on the release of players for continental tournaments are clear. Clubs must release their players at least 14 days before the commencement of the African Cup of Nations. Now, Maccabi Tel Aviv hope to reach an agreement with the friendly Nigeria Federation to delay Enyeama's arrival at the Faro camp of the Eagles by at least three days.

If the NFF gives the nod for Enyeama to join the Eagles on January 8th, it means he would be the last foreign based professional to join the squad in Portugal.

Vincent Enyeama has been involved in every game,(from start to finish) played by The Yellows in the Ligat ha'Al this campaign.
