Gzira United Release Alfred Effiong

Both parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract binding them and now the Nigerian player can join any club of his choice in the winter transfer market.
The former Marsaxlokk and Valletta striker was the club's top earner as he was earning 2,300 euros every month.
Meanwhile, Hamrun Spartans will test an unnamed Nigerian striker starting from this week.
