Renard Names 23 Players For Afcon
Published: January 09, 2013Zambia gaffer Herve Renard has unveiled his 23 - man squad for the African Cup of Nations.The defending champions are pitted in the same group with traditional African powerhouse Nigeria, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.
An analysis of the roster which was released on Tuesday revealed that three goalkeepers, six defenders, nine midfielders and five strikers have been nominated for the trip to South Africa.
Omitted from the list are injured Kampamba Chintu, Saulani Phiri and Shadreck Malambo.
