Official: Chidi Omeje Returns To Dalkurd
Published: February 07, 2013At the end of the 2012 campaign, Chidi Omeje revealed that he won't be extending his contract with Swedish club Dalkurd.
The Nigerian wanted to take the next step in his career and discussed with some unnamed clubs in the Premier League and the Danish second league.
But the 22-year-old has made a complete U - turn and will remain in Division 1. Today, he signed a new contract with Dalkurd.
''This is a player who has been very important for the club, not least last season where he scored 14 goals and was the team's top scorer. It feels really good that he chose us when he had other offers, says Dalkurds sports director Adil Kizil to fotbolltransfers.com.
