Published: February 15, 2013
Nigerian midfielder Lukman Haruna was on target against Bordeaux on Thursday night in the Europa League, but his 20th minute striker was not enough as the French team equalized 3 minutes later.
Interviewed by Ukrainian media, the former Monaco ace has summed up the first leg tie with Bordeaux.
''Today, we have made every effort to achieve victory, and did everything to our best today. Team played a very good game, but could only draw. I feel good and am very happy that the coach trusted me to start me.
''The French team always plays. Accepted they played defensive football. Their tactic was to defend, our - to attack. Unfortunately, we were not able to score the winning goal. Everything will be decided in the next game,'' says Haruna to dynamomania.com.
