Imoh Ezekiel Wants To Play For Belgium, Snubs John Obuh Advances
Standard Liege's Imoh Ezekiel has told Belgian media that he will apply for Belgian citizenship to enable him play for the Red Devils.

According to authoritative Belgian website dhnet.be , 19 - year - old Ezekiel received an invitation from coach John Obuh to participate at the African Youth Championship held in Algeria last month.

But he snubbed Obuh's advances and is unlikely to answer his call to feature at the Fifa Under 20s in Turkey this coming summer.

Imoh Ezekiel, top scorer of Standard Liege with 15 goals, has decided not to travel to Nigeria after the end of the championship. He does not want to be coerced to play for the Super Eagles or Flying Eagles.

The newspaper reported that Ezekiel's representatives have made enquiries on the possibility of the former 36 Lion ace obtaining Belgian citizenship before the end of the year.
