West Brom Coach: Peter Odemwingie Has Not Been Frozen Out
Published: May 03, 2013
Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie has not played for West Brom since March 30 when he came on as a substitute against West Ham.
Since the attacker's failed move to Queens Park Rangers in the winter transfer market, his appearances in the Premier League have been limited.
Manager of West Brom, Steve Clarke has told British media that the club has not totally shut the door on Peter Odemwingie, whose contract runs out at the end of next season.
The Daily Mail quoted Clarke as saying: ''He wants the chance to play and that opportunity will come again before the end of the season.
''Peter’s not been frozen out, I don’t do that to my players. My relationship with my players is important to me. My relationship with Peter and the rest of the players is good.''
It is being reported that relegated Queens Park Rangers could approach West Brom again for Odemwingie this summer.
