Published: May 16, 2013
There is no signal from Danish Super Liga outfit AC Horsens that former Nigeria Under 23 international Emmanuel Ibok Edet will be offered a contract after undergoing trials last week, an impeccable source close to the defender has exclusively revealed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The news will not be welcomed by Edet who had wanted to play for AC Horsens despite reaching an agreement in principle to join Maltese club Floriana on a one - year contract at the end of last month.
''Emmanuel Edet has not yet been offered any contract by AC Horsens. But from the feelers I am getting the club want him. He could be coming back to Denmark again,'' said the source who pleaded anonymity.
Emmanuel Ibok Edet, a central defender, spent last season at Spanish side CD Atlético Baleares.
