Scottish giants Rangers are reportedly open to selling Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers in the summer transfer window.
Football Insider claims that Rangers are potentially open to selling the Nigeria international this summer if they secure a fee of around £5million (approximately N9.7 billion in Nigerian currency).
Greek champions PAOK are interested in signing Dessers before the start of their UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
The Belgian-born center forward had a tough time in his first few months as a Rangers player following his transfer from US Cremonese, but began showing his goalscoring qualities after the appointment of Philippe Clement as coach.
Dessers mustered 22 goals and registered nine assists in 54 all-competition appearances in his first season at Ibrox Stadium.
However, his name was often in the headlines for missing several several clear-cut chances.
An offer in the region of £5 million for Dessers would be acceptable to Rangers, who intend to reinvest the money into Philippe Clement’s side.
The 29-year-old joined Rangers from Cremonese last summer in exhange for 4.2 million pounds and is under contract with the Light Blues until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
Dessers has six caps for Nigeria, where his mother hails from, but remains eligible to represent his country of birth, Belgium.
