Roma Starlet Ponders Quitting Nigeria U23s Team After Death Of Dad
<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Roma striker Sadiq Umar is pondering his future with the Nigeria U23 national team following the death of his father on Friday, July 1.<br /><br />The 19-year-old has left the Dream Team VI training camp in Atlanta, United States, and is presently in Kaduna having landed in the country around 1600 hours on Sunday.<br /><br />Umar has said that he wants to be close to his family in their period of mourning and has not set a date on a potential return to the Nigeria U23s.<br /><br />The Future of Africa Academy product was very close to his dad, who played for the famous Ranchers Bees of Kaduna before his retirement. <br /><br />Sadiq Umar<span class="body1">’s father had an excellent relationship with interim Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf before he passed away at Kabala Hospital Kaduna.</span><br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
