<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Roma defender Nura Abdullahi is on his way to Abuja after departing Italy on Thursday. <br /><br />The fullback has undergone surgery after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.<br /><br />The 18-year-old was supposed to return to Nigeria with Dream Team VI trainee Sadiq Umar but delayed his trip because he had to undergo an operation.<br /><br />Abdullahi has started his rehabilitation and had to travel with the Roma squad to Pinzolo to continue receiving treatment as all the doctors were with the team for their pre-season training. <span><br /><br />When the Giallorossi squad returned, he was given a holiday and permitted to fly to Nigeria to see his family.<br /><br />A product of Football College Abuja, Nura Abdullahi penned a four-year contract with Roma this summer after impressing officials of the capital outfit while on loan last season from Spezia.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /></span>
