Super Eagles striker Onuachu makes decision on Trabzonspor future amid Bundesliga, Saudi links

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has reportedly made a decision regarding his future at Turkish Süper Lig side Trabzonspor amid speculation linking him with moves to the Bundesliga and Saudi Arabia ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.

German clubs VfL Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen, alongside Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ahli, have all been credited with an interest in the towering forward, with the latter said to be willing to table an offer that would see him earn up to four times his current wages.

Onuachu has been in scintillating form this season, enjoying a standout campaign at Trabzonspor with 23 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.

His prolific run has placed him firmly at the top of the Süper Lig Golden Boot race.

According to Turkish publication Karadeniz Gazete, the 31-year-old has no intention of departing the club during the summer transfer window.

Instead, he is fully committed to continuing his journey with Trabzonspor and has set his sights on winning silverware with the team.

Trabzonspor are equally reluctant to part ways with their talisman, viewing him as an indispensable figure within the squad.

Renowned for his physical presence and aerial dominance, Onuachu consistently poses a significant threat to opposition defences and shoulders much of the Trabzonspor's attacking responsibility.

Currently on international duty with the Super Eagles in Antalya, Turkey, the Nigerian striker remains under contract with Trabzonspor until the end of the 2027-2028 season.
