A plethora of English Premier League clubs are interested in signing Orlando City-owned striker Daryl Dike, who spent the second half of the 2020-2021 campaign on loan at Championship club Barnsley.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Leeds United, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers were previously credited with an interest in the Nigeria-eligible player.
According to TEAMtalk, Southampton, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Norwich City have made enquiries over the signing of Dike while demoted Premier League teams Fulham and West Brom are also considering moves for the 20-year-old.
Daryl is the younger brother of former Super Eagles striker Bright Dike and his sister Courtney Dike represented Nigeria at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
On a personal level, Dike had a fantastic loan spell at Barnsley, scoring nine goals in nineteen matches in the regular season also made appearances in the FA Cup and Championship playoffs.
It is unlikely that Barnsley will activate the purchase option included in his loan deal after their failure to secure promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
Dike was a surprise omission from the United States roster for next week's CONCACAF Nations League finals.
