Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis is in contention for selection on Wednesday evening as Brøndby take on Viborg FF at the Energi Viborg Arena.
Head coach Steve Cooper has named the former Watford forward in his travelling squad following his return to fitness.
The injury had ruled Dennis out of the matchday squad that convincingly defeated Sønderjyske Fodbold last Friday, a fixture in which teenage striker Jacob Ambæk announced himself with a maiden senior hat-trick.
Dennis had slipped out of prominence after his departure from Nottingham Forest at the end of August, but is now seeking to reignite his career at Brøndby.
He previously worked under Cooper at Forest, making 25 appearances in the 2022–2023 season and contributing two goals along with three assists.
The 28-year-old has featured in seven league matches for Brøndby so far this season and was part of the side that endured a six-game scoring drought in the Danish Superliga.
A graduate of the Kwara Football Academy, Dennis began his professional career in Europe with Zorya Luhansk before earning a move to Club Brugge, with a subsequent stint at Cologne.
