Spartak Moscow's PR department director Anton Fetisov has insisted that it is not too expensive to sign Chelsea-owned wing-back Victor Moses on a permanent deal for a fee of five million euros.
The former Nigeria international joined the Muscovites on loan in October until the end of the 2020-2021 season with a non-compulsory option to buy set at five million euros.
Moses has caught the eye since the resumption of the Russian Premier League, most recently yesterday's game, where he provided two brilliant assists in a 2-1 win versus Arsenal Tula.
Everything is pointing to the fact that the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner will be offered a permanent deal should The Red-Whites qualify for the Champions League.
Asked if Moses will remain in the team for next season, Fetisov told Sport Express : "It all depends on where the team will finish.
"I would say that Victor is gaining his best shape with every game. This is a very high quality footballer.
"If he stays at Spartak, I want him to be motivated. I am very glad that we proved to all the haters. The most important thing for us is the result."
On if it's expensive signing a 30-year-old footballer for five million euros, Fetisov answered : "I do not consider him an average footballer by Russian Premier League standards".
According to Transfermarkt, Moses is the most valuable Nigerian player aged 30 and older, with a market value of €6m.
