The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, FCT chapter on Wednesday congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Sports and Chairman, National Sports Commission, Dr. Tamuno Danagogo. <br /><br />A former Rivers state Commissioner for Urban Development, Danagogo, replaced&nbsp; Alhaji Bolaji Abdullahi as the head of the Sports Ministry and has been sworn in by President Goodluk Jonathan, GCFR, on Wednesday.<br /><br />Chairman SWAN, FCT chapter, Kayode Adeniyi while reacting to the news in Abuja on Wednesday congratulated the new minister and urged him to make a positive impact on sports development in through his new office.<br /><br />&ldquo;We want to congratulate and at the same time welcome our new minister of sports and we hope his tenure will bring good fortunes.&ldquo; Kayode said.
