Fenerbahce alum Bright Osayi-Samuel has reportedly emerged as a surprise transfer target for Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
The Super Eagles right-back spent four and a half seasons with the Yellow Canaries, recording seven goals and 15 assists in 178 appearances across all competitions.
He also played a key role in their Turkish Cup triumph in the 2022–2023 season, before joining Birmingham City last summer.
According to Turkish sports daily Fanatik, Galatasaray are planning ahead for next season, with Osayi-Samuel appearing as an unexpected candidate at right-back.
Roland Sallai is currently the preferred right-back at Galatasaray, with Wilfried Singo as his understudy.
With Singo attracting interest elsewhere, Galatasaray are assessing alternatives, including Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The Nigeria international was on the verge of joining Galatasaray's Istanbul rivals Besiktas last summer, only for the deal to collapse at the last minute.
Under contract with Birmingham City until June 2028, Osayi-Samuel has featured in 22 matches this season, providing one assist, while logging 1, 242 minutes.
The 28-year-old is currently on international duty with the Super Eagles in Turkey, and went the distance in a 2-1 win over Iran last Friday.
