Super Eagles Striker Onuachu Sets New Personal Record After 25th Min Goal Vs Sporting Charleroi

Racing Genk's Paul Onuachu is in the best form of his career since turning professional, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The lanky striker scored for the fifth game running as Genk returned to winning ways by beating Sporting Charleroi 2-1 a the Luminus Arena on Sunday evening.

The Nigeria international registered his name on the scoresheet in the 25th minute, taking his tally for the season in the league to eight goals.

And in doing so, Onuachu broke his personal record for consecutive league matches on the scoresheet.

His previous best scoring streak was set back in the 2016-2017 season when he netted in four consecutive matches against AaB, Nordsjælland, Brondby and SønderjyskE while wearing the colours of FC Midtjylland.

In the race for the top scorer award in the Belgian top-flight, Onuachu leads the way, scoring a goal more than  Beerschot's Raphael Holzhauser who has tallied seven.

The FC Ebedei product managed nine league goals in his his maiden season with Racing Genk.
