Valencia's Nigerian striker, Umar Sadiq, is aiming to score for the third time against Sevilla as both teams prepare for a vital encounter at Mestalla this Friday. 

Having previously netted against the Andalusian club with both Almería and Real Sociedad, Sadiq will be eager to extend his record against them, especially as Sevilla endure a challenging season.

Sevilla, struggling with consistency under manager García Pimienta, will need to be cautious of Sadiq, who has been in excellent form for Valencia this season. 

With four goals to his name, including crucial strikes against Villarreal, Osasuna, and Valladolid, Sadiq has become a key figure in Valencia’s attack. 

His physicality and clinical finishing make him a constant threat, and Sevilla will be determined to prevent him from adding to his tally.

Though there are concerns about his starting position due to the return to  fitness of his teammate Hugo Duro, who scored a decisive goal against Real Madrid, Sadiq could be the one to lead Valencia’s charge.

Sevilla will need to be at their best to prevent the Nigerian from making it three goals against them.
