Sylvester Igboun Bids Emotional Farewell To FC Midtjylland
Ex FC Midtjylland striker Sylvester Igboun has bid an emotional farewell to the Danish club , where he was nurtured after joining them from FC Ebedei, a nursery team owned by Churchill Oliseh.<br /><br />Igboun was quick to express gratitude to the players, coaches, supporters and everyone that contributed to his success at the MCH Arena. <br /><br />“Nine years is a lot and nine years here in Denmark and in Midtjylland has been great for me,” said Igboun to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />“I enjoyed my stay here, FC Midtjylland have helped me to grow as a human and as a football player.<br /><br />“It is sad that I have to leave now but of course if I don’t leave today i will leave someday.<br /><br />“FCM will always be in heart and I hope all the people in Midtjylland will understand how much this move means to me.”<br /><br />Sylvester Igboun is battling to obtain a Russian visa ahead of Ufa’s first game of the new season against Rostov in three days time.<br /><br />The 24 - year - old has signed a four - year contract with the Russian Premier League side.<br />
