Liverpool U21s suffered defeat in their final U21 Premier League game of the season, losing to Manchester City EDS 2-0 at the Academy Stadium on Friday night, with three players eligible to represent Nigeria getting game time.<br /><br />City coach handed a start to England youth international Adarabioyo, Tiago Ilori was named in defense for Liverpool while Ovie Ejaria started on the bench but played the last 45 minutes.<br /><br />The home team took the lead in the 30th minute through Buckley before Celina tapped home from close range fifteen minutes from time to consign Liverpool to defeat.<br /><br />Tiago Ilori came close to grabbing a goal for the Reds but saw his effort cleared off the line. <br /><br />In the U21 Premier League Division standings, Manchester City are fourth while Liverpool finished in seventh place. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
