Tottenham Hotspur's Wales international midfielder Ben Davies has high praise for Nigerian duo Luke Amos and Timothy Eyoma, plus other youngsters who traveled to the United States with the first team for pre-season training.
Whilst Amos was named in the starting lineup against Roma, Barcelona and AC Milan, England U17 World Cup-winning defender Eyoma played his first game watched by the public against the Italian opponents.
''It was an unbelievable experience for the players who have played a lot of games, let alone for these younger lads who had a first real opportunity to play in the first team.
''They all stood up to the challenge and performed as we expected them to - they are all good players. We’re proud of them.''
Last season, Eyoma had 17 appearances to his name for Spurs U23 team while Amos played 15 times before he was loaned out to Stevenage in the January transfer window.
