The home - based Super Eagles have started preparations for the African Nations Championship holding in Rwanda next month.<br /><br />Twenty two of the invited players trained this morning at the National Stadium in Abuja under the tutelage of coach Salisu Yusuf and ex Ajax Amsterdam winger Tijani Babangida.<br /><br />It has been claimed that coach Sunday Oliseh is recovering from illness but he is expected to join the squad in South Africa for a training camp before the start of the tournament.<br /><br />Nigeria Under 23 internationals Usman Mohammed and Bature Yaro have been given a short break before they join the get - together in Abuja next week.<br /><br />The Super Eagles have been pitted against Niger, Tunisia and Guinea in Group C of the competition.<br /><br />Photo Credit : thenff.com<br />
