Umerah Beats England U20 Star Lookman To Charlton Goal Of The Month Award
Josh Umerah has won Charlton Athletic<span>’s</span> Goal of the Month Award for September, writes the official website of the Addicks.<br /><br />The Academy graduate<span>’s strike against Coventry City U23s at The Valley collected more than fifty percent of the votes in the official poll. <br /><br />Umerah saw off competition from England U20 international of Nigerian descent Ademola Lookman, Albie Morgan, Josh Magennis and Karlan Ahearne-Grant.<br /><br />He scored the sixth goal in the 7-2 thumping of Coventry City with a brilliant shot from twenty-five yards. <br /></span><br />In April, Umerah signed a contract extension with Charlton Athletic which will see him remain at <span class="_Xbe">SE7 8BL until the summer of 2018.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : cafc.co.uk<br /></span>
