German-Nigerian center back Nnamdi Collins got on the scoresheet for Borussia Dortmund in their latest A-Junior Bundesliga West before their trip to England to face Manchester United in the UEFA Youth League.
Borussia Dortmund U19s thrashed Alemannia Aachen 5-0 on Friday with Collins wrapping up the scoring in the 81st minute when he headed home.
Heading into the fixture at Leigh Sports Village on Tuesday, March 1, the German giants are in excellent form having won their last seven matches in the division and have a seven-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the league table.
Collins has retained his spot in Dortmund's starting lineup after missing the first four matches of the season due to dislocation of the patella.
The Germany youth international is a threat from set-pieces, and his other league goal this term was also from a header.
United are expected to name a strong squad for the visit of Dortmund, meaning Collins could come up against another wonderkid of Nigerian descent, Shola Shoretire.
The 18-year-old was involved in the last five matches contested by Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League while Shoretire started United's first four matches in the group stage.
