Speaking before Leicester City's trip to the London Stadium for their Premier League clash with West Ham United, Wilfred Ndidi says he is delighted to be playing alongside Youri Tielemans in midfield for the Foxes.
Belgium international Tielemans is back at Leicester City after starring at this summer's European Championship.
Tielemans was the hero for Leicester City in May, netting the winning goal as the Foxes beat Chelsea to win the Emirates FA Cup.
Ndidi, the more defensive-minded player, has formed a formidable partnership with Tielemans, and is as important as the Belgian to Leicester City's cause.
"We've played together and we built our relationship," Ndidi said to LCFC TV.
"We complement each other and we understand the game, we understand each other.
"The main job is to try and help the team. When we get the opportunity to be together, we try to help the team.
"Youri's a fantastic player and I’m very glad to play alongside him and we look forward to more to come."
Ndidi and Tielemans didn't miss out on the action as Leicester City won their first two matches of the new season, with both starting together in midfield in the wins against Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
