Belgium's KFCO Beerschot are in contention with other foreign clubs such as North Macedonia's KF Shkëndija, Union Sportive de Tataouine, Tunisia and Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City FC for Super Eagles goal machine, Ibrahim Mustapha.
The Plateau United striker who scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 21 games of the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season has become a hot target for some European and North African clubs.
Negotiations are ongoing for Mustapha according to his agent, Gallant Respect Agency who claimed to be evaluating every clauses and conditions of every interested clubs.
"I can confirm to you that a good numbers of teams from Belgium, Germany and North Africa have shown interest with several official offers but we are weighing up the better ones with improved offer and good better future resale clause.
"Union Sportive de Tataouine came with good offer and better future resale clause while Ho Chi Minh City FC in Vietnam offered a huge salary and big cash contract fee.
"Also KF Shkëndija FC from North Macedonia and four other teams from Latvia, Poland, Croatia, and Portugal who are to play in European competitions next season have also shown good interest", said Ramone Ashiru of Gallant Respect Agency.
The 1.90m tall Mustapha played in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup with Enyimba FC after winning the Nigeria Premier League last season 2018/19 with them.
He also won a silver medal with the home based Eagles in CAF CHAN 2018.
